Redefining digital banking experience
In this project, we redesigned the Vakıf Katılım mobile banking dashboard to enhance the user experience. The redesign emphasizes intuitive navigation and easy access to key features, allowing users to assess their financial health quickly. This transformation not only improves usability but also aims to empower users with the tools they need for effective financial management.
BACKGROUND
From brief to impact
We partnered with the Vakıf Katılım Digital Banking Team on this project. With a comprehensive brief and prior research, we had a solid understanding of the needs. This strong foundation enabled us to efficiently design tailored solutions for the mobile banking dashboard, ensuring it met user expectations and organizational goals.

What I did
As the sole UX designer on this project, I relied on existing research to guide my work.
Since our agency previously created the Vakıf Katılım mobile application, I was responsible for a complete redesign of the dashboard.
This involved updating the design system and adding new modules, as well as refining the UI for a more cohesive and engaging user experience.

Highlighting financial assets for quick insight
The assets module provides a streamlined summary of total financial holdings, offering an overview of all accounts. This feature enables quick access to detailed breakdowns, making it simple to track assets and monitor overall financial health.
Simplifying transactions access
Quick actions offer direct access to essential features from the dashboard. These shortcuts can be changed to fit specific needs, streamlining everyday banking tasks for a more efficient experience.
Designing a customized dashboard
The dashboard features a customizable layout, allowing users to tailor the interface to their preferences. This flexibility ensures that desired information and tools are easily accessible while minimizing clutter from unwanted features.
CONCLUSION
Final thoughts
This project was a rewarding experience that advanced my design thinking. It focused on enhancing usability and addressing diverse user needs, leading to solutions that improved interactions and created a more intuitive financial management experience. I look forward to applying these insights to future challenges.
